Chase has built a career that blends the worlds of power supply with understanding and serving America’s communities. It’s one of the reasons why Chase fits so well with the mission at Guzman Energy.
Chase leads the Guzman Energy supply team in originating and contracting electric generating resources to serve the Guzman Energy portfolio of contracted customer loads. He brings 20 years of experience in the development and management of utility scale power supplies, including renewable energy projects in MISO, SPP, ERCOT and WECC. Chase previously served in business development, transaction, origination and supply roles at Avangrid Renewables, Community Energy and Invenergy. Prior to joining Guzman Energy, Chase served as VP of Business Development at Triple Oak Power.
In discussing his decision to join Guzman Energy in 2024, Chase explained, “I’m excited to be with an organization like Guzman Energy during this dynamic time in energy transition and the evolution of the US power grid. The rapid growth at Guzman Energy is a testament that we are offering something that America’s communities need as energy strategy becomes an increasingly critical component of community self-determination and economic vitality.”
Chase received his bachelor’s degree in history and environmental studies from Cornell College and a master’s degree in business administration/finance from the Daniels College of Business at University of Denver. Residing in Denver, Chase is a third generation Coloradan and passionate about his home state. In his spare time, Chase volunteers as a Mission Pilot for the Civil Air Patrol and takes great pleasure in exploring the lands that make the Rocky Mountain West a wonderful place to live.
