Greg has spent his career in accounting and energy. Prior to joining Guzman Energy, Greg served in various accounting and finance roles at Xcel Energy focusing on energy derivatives, power purchase agreements, and regulated cost recovery mechanisms. Greg got his first exposure to commodities trading as a summer intern at the Chicago Board of Trade before moving to attend the University of Colorado for undergraduate studies. After completing his masters degree at the University of Denver, Greg worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers auditing financial services and energy clients.
Greg earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Colorado’s Leeds School of Business and a Master of Accountancy from the University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business. Greg holds a CPA license in the state of Colorado.
Greg lives in Denver with his wife, two very active boys, and dog, Manning. In his spare time, Greg can be found on the soccer field or baseball diamond coaching his kid’s youth sports teams. Greg is an avid skier and is passionate about taking advantage of the outdoor activities Colorado has to offer.
